E3n - Fractional Associate Director, Global Membership and Business Development
Engagement Overview
E3n is seeking a contract professional to support the execution and growth of its global membership and student recruitment event portfolio. This work focuses on driving revenue, managing complex international events, and strengthening engagement with schools, agents, and global partners.
This is a project-based, outcome-driven engagement supporting global fairs, agent events, and member related events.
Scope of Services
The contractor will be responsible for delivering work across three core areas:
1. Global Event Execution & Operations
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of global student recruitment fairs and agent events
- Coordinate logistics across multiple international locations (venues, vendors, travel, run-of-show)
- Manage participant experience across schools, agents, and families
- Oversee scheduling and execution of high-volume meetings between participants
- Serve as on-site lead for events, ensuring quality and consistency of execution

High-quality, well-executed events that meet participation, experience, and operational standards
2. Revenue Generation & Membership Growth
- Drive participation and revenue across assigned events (school recruitment, agent engagement, etc.)
- Support outreach and relationship management with schools, agents, and partners
- Contribute to strategies that increase participation, retention, and repeat engagement
- Provide market insights and feedback to inform growth strategy
- Own achievement of participation targets, including ensuring events reach capacity and maintain waitlists
- Manage and optimize participation pipeline across assigned events
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive recruitment outcomes
Key Outcome:
Events meet or exceed participation and revenue targets; pipeline of future participation is strengthened
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Market Development
- Serve as a primary point of contact for participating schools, agents, and partners
- Deliver communications, orientations, and support before, during, and after events
- Contribute to webinars, presentations, and other engagement efforts related to global fairs
- Provide insight into global market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for expansion
- Engage a multi-sided network of stakeholders, including schools, agents, families, and institutional partners (e.g., embassies, scholarship organizations)

Strong stakeholder relationships and increased credibility in global markets
4. Systems, Data & Reporting
- Utilize CRM and event platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Swoogo, or similar tools) to track engagement, participation, and outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, participation, and event metrics
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and opportunities
Key Outcome:
Clear visibility into performance, pipeline, and event outcomes
Deliverables
- Successful execution of assigned global events (planning through post-event follow-up)
- Achievement of agreed-upon participation and/or revenue targets
- Regular reporting on pipeline, engagement, and outcomes
- Recommendations for improving event model, participation, and growth strategy
Engagement Structure
- Reports to: Senior Director, Global Membership and Business Development
- Works independently with regular check-ins
- Collaborates cross-functionally with membership, marketing, and operations teams
Timing & Commitment
- Contract period: Initially three months, with the opportunity for contract extensions.
- Work will include international travel and non-standard hours aligned to event schedules
Success Measures
Success in this engagement will be evaluated based on:
- Event execution quality and participant satisfaction
- Achievement of participation and/or revenue targets
- Effectiveness of stakeholder engagement and retention
- Contribution to pipeline development and future growth opportunities
- Event sell-through rate (capacity + waitlist)
- Revenue attainment against assigned portfolio
- Participant mix quality (schools, agents, families)
